Please review the frequently asked questions about the Better Evidence UpToDate Donation Program.

Please follow this link to our new portal: www.better-evidence.org. Create an account to start a new application.

To start a renewal application, please login to your previous account at www.better-evidence.org. Select “Apply” on your Dashboard. You must submit a renewal application annually through this link.

We will ask you to review and update your information and share feedback on your experience with UpToDate over the last year.

To create an account, please use the email you would like to use for your UpToDate subscription. Please select “Forgot your password?” if you cannot remember it.

If you are having further issues submitting your application, please contact [email protected].

You should hear within 6–8 weeks.

Once your application is marked “Approved” on the portal, you will receive a confirmation email from UpToDate with log-in instructions. This may take 2–3 weeks after your “approved” status is granted.

Please monitor your spam folder for an email with the subject line: “UpToDate/Better Evidence Donation Confirmation.” If you have not received this email after 3 weeks, please contact [email protected].

We recommend you apply for renewal about one to three months before your subscription ends. Log in with the email you originally used to apply and check your application portal. The portal will not let you renew before three months prior to your subscription ending.

Yes. Log into your account at www.better-evidence.org to check your application status.

Please note application processing can take up to 8 weeks. If your application has been “Under Review” for more than 8 weeks, please contact [email protected].

Confirmation emails can arrive 2–4 weeks after “approved” status. Please check your inbox and spam folder for an email directly from UpToDate. If not received after 4 weeks, contact [email protected].

If your application is currently in “Submitted” or “Under Review” status, please contact [email protected] to edit the information in your application.

Yes — if you have additional relevant information regarding your eligibility that was not included in your original application.

Please email [email protected] to appeal a declined decision.

No, you cannot share your login. You must keep your account private and secure. You can share information you learn by sending topics from within the UpToDate platform to others or by printing materials.
